Max Brosmer is an American college football quarterback who very recently joined the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Brosmer played high school football at the Centennial High School where he received the Centennial Excalibur Award and the regional Offensive Player of the Year for his excellent contribution to the team. He was a consensus three-star prospect and concluded his varsity career with 7,252 yards and 61 touchdowns. Coming out of high school, Bosmer had only one scholarship offer from a Division I school and ended up accepting the offer.

Brosmer began his collegiate football journey with New Hampshire Wildcats over offers from the Air Force, Georgia State, Harvard, North Carolina, Tennesse, and Yale among others. In his freshman season, Brosmer was named the starting quarterback and he saw action in all 11 games completing passes for 1,967 yards with 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He missed playing the 2021 season as he suffered from an ACL injury. In 2022, Brosmer started all 13 games throwing for 3,154 yards and 27 touchdowns, earning himself the ninth rank in the nation. In his final year with the New Hampshire Wildcats, Brosmer served as the team captain and was second in the country with 3,464 passing yards and 29 touchdowns in 2023. For his outstanding junior campaign, Brosmer was named the second-team FCS All-American and a finalist for the Walter Payton Award. The Georgia native threw for 8,647 yards and 68 touchdown passes in his UNH career. After the 2023 season, Brosmer decided to enter the transfer portal and soon announced his commitment to the University of Minnesota for his final season of college football.
