The Ohio Bobcats represent Ohio University, competing in the Mid-American Conference. The football program was established in 1894 and won a national championship in 1960. The Ohio Bobcats had a remarkable season in 2024. Under head coach Tim Albin, the Bobcats managed to register an 11–3 mark, which was the first 11-win season in school history. They won with a 38–3 margin against Miami in the MAC Championship Game and won their first conference championship since 1968. They also dominated the Cure Bowl against Jacksonville State with a 30–27 victory. The 2024 campaign began a new era for the Bobcats in college football, reigniting Ohio's football legacy.
