#2 Wriddhiman Saha - 115 Vs Kolkata Knight Riders, 2014 final

Kings XI Punjab were a feared team in the 2014 edition of the IPL. A line-up of Glenn Maxwell, David Miller, Virender Sehwag and George Bailey had decimated bowlers in their journey to the final.
Batting first, KXIP lost two wickets inside four overs. Wriddhiman Saha was given a surprise promotion who, along with Manan Vohra, built a wonderful partnership. The keeper batsman then displayed some wonderful hitting as he attacked the KKR lineup.
Saha thrashed the season's best spinner, Sunil Narine, for three fours and three sixes in two overs to take his team to a respectable total. He was equally effective against the pace and bounce of Morne Morkel and Umesh Yadav. Saha's extraordinary century came off just 49 balls.
It was one of the best innings in IPL history as Saha notched up the ton with a strike-rate of over 200 and did so by timing the ball. His knock of 115 was the highest score in an IPL final but Manish Pandey played a blinder to deny Punjab a maiden IPL crown.
