Manish Pandey, the U-19 World Cup winner under the captaincy of Virat Kohli has been a consistent performer. Though he had a mediocre IPL season, he made amends with his fine batting skills in the recently concluded Quadrangular series with India A.

He got selected to the Asia Cup due to these performances. He got a single opportunity against Afghanistan which he failed to make use of. With so much batting talent in the squad, Manish might miss the flight to England.

Although his fielding skills will work to his advantage, the limited spots available for a reserve middle-order batsman would make him worry.
