The IPL is an event which brings out the best in young players and also provides a platform for them to represent their national sides. Many of the prominent players in the national sides have been able to feature only due to their consistent performances in the IPL.

The selectors too have a problem of plenty while choosing the squad for the limited overs while keeping in mind the composition of the team for 2019 World Cup.

Team India has given youngsters a place in the squad in the shortest format of the game. With India set to start their overseas tours with the T20's in June, we will look at the pacers who can make it to the T20 squad due to impressive performances in the IPL.

#3 Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has been a promising bowler whose career has been riddled due to injuries. Ever since he took match figures of 8 for 21 in his debut Ranji trophy match, he was considered as the next big thing. But, luck didn't favour his way and he moved out of contention.

He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 IPL auction after having stints with the Rajasthan Royals and the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant, and has impressed for CSK, this season.

The medium-pacer has developed lots of skills in his bowling which includes the knuckleball, inswinger and outswinger. He took figures of 3-15 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad which included a wicket-maiden over.

India can look to him as an opening bowler in the years to come and he can help the Indian team.

#2 Ankit Rajpoot

Ankit Rajpoot currently holds the record for best figures taken by an uncapped bowler in the IPL.

Ankit Rajpoot, the medium-pacer from Uttar Pradesh, has been one to look out for since he took figures of 5/14 against a formidable Sunrisers Hyderabad batting line-up. Though his effort went in vain, he has been lauded by pundits.

Rajpoot is a wicket-taking bowler who can stifle batsmen with his swing bowling and steep bouncers. The Kings XI Punjab may regret using him a little late in their campaign.

With India set to play Ireland in June, it won't be a surprise if the selectors rest pacers like Bumrah and give opportunities to young bowlers like Ankit Rajpoot.

#1 Siddharth Kaul

Punjab's Siddharth Kaul has become one of the best uncapped players in the IPL. The bowler has a lot of variations in his kitty, which can stifle even the best. He was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, on the back of impressive performances in the domestic circuit.

Since then, he has progressed in leaps and bounds. His knuckleball is the one which is feared even by the best batsman, while he also hits the deck hard and can swing the ball either way.

Despite earning a national call-up, he hasn't represented India due to the presence of bowling stalwarts in the Indian line-up. However, this might be the year where he can make full use of the IPL to get a spot in the Indian team.
