Despite having a prolific domestic season, Mayank Agarwal was nowhere close to his best for Kings XI Punjab, as a result of which he had to be axed from the team.
He got off to great starts in every match, but could never dig in and play an innings of note right through the tournament.
Punjab could well look at other options, more so at players who are finishers and Agarwal could be swapped ahead of the next season.
