#3- Ashok Dinda

Ashok Dinda

Ashok Dinda's headband and big leap before the delivery resembled that of Brett Lee, said many experts. But unfortunately, the Bengal pacer couldn't replicate his form in international cricket. Playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, he picked up 9 wickets from 7 matches in the 2010 edition with a great economy rate of 6.56.

His bowling average was close to 16 and was impressive. By then, Dinda had already made his T20 debut by this time and started off poorly before playing well in the years 2012 and 2013. He picked up 8 wickets from 5 matches in the 2012-13 season playing under MSD and was an integral part of the Indian side before he lost his form.

In ODIs, he failed from the beginning. Dinda was erratic with line and length and was pretty expensive. He could pick up just 12 wickets from 13 matches and a very poor bowling average of 51 and this led to him being removed from the side in both the formats despite excelling in T20Is. Dinda was a player who promised a lot and gave glimpses of his potential but wasn't able to hold his ground when it mattered in international cricket.

#2- Stuart Binny

Stuart Binny was a major part of the Rajasthan Royals squad and was a big run scorer for them until 2015. In 2013, Binny scored 293 runs in 17 innings at a good average of 32.55 and great strike rate of 147.23 while picking up 6 wickets with a great economy of 6.75. This and India's search for an all-rounder gave Binny a break to play for India. He was well known for his performance against Bangladesh where he picked up 6 wickets but other than that, his career doesn't have anything special.

If we remove that game, Binny has just picked up 14 wickets from 13 matches with a par bowling average 29.33 and scored just 205 runs. In his 6 Test matches, he picked up just 3 wickets and scored 194 runs in 11 innings with an average of 19.55. In the 3 T20Is he has played, he scored just 35 runs and picked up just 1 wicket with a bad bowling average of 54. Stuart Binny has surely had a lot of opportunities but hasn't performed well.

#1- Axar Patel

Axar Patel is one of the best Indian all-rounders in the IPL and won the Emerging Player of the Year award in 2014. He was at his best when he picked up 17 wickets at a stellar economy rate of 6.13 which turned heads towards him. Axar's performance then earned him a place in the Indian team. He was slated as the next big spin bowling all-rounder after Ravindra Jadeja but even after getting ample opportunities, he hasn't been able to do justice to the team's faith in him.

In 38 ODIs, he has scored just 181 runs at a poor batting average of 12.32 and a paltry effort with the ball. He has picked up just 45 wickets in 38 matches with a substandard bowling average of 31.31. In 11 T20Is, he has picked up just 9 wickets with a bowling average of 29.44. He can still make a comeback to the squad but his international form will be a concern for the team.
