Royal Challengers Bangalore needed a good performance to get back into contention for playoffs. With a batting lineup with such quality, RCB needed their batsmen to fire. In reply, a Suresh Raina-less Gujarat Lions never looked like chasing down the mammoth total. Chris Jordan and Yuzvendra Chahal were the pick of the bowlers for the home side.
