IPL 2018, CSK vs KXIP: Twitter reacts as MS Dhoni yet again finishes a match with a six

Kings XI Punjab, who came into the match in search of a 53-run win, suffered an early setback as they lost their three key players, Chris Gayle, KL Rahul and Aaron Finch, within the first four overs. After losing the three wickets, Manoj Tiwary and David Miller put together a 60-run partnership but they got out together in consecutive overs deterring KXIP's chances.

After losing the settled pair, Karun Nair took matters into his own hands and scored a 26-ball 54 in spite of losing wickets regularly at the other end. On the back of a half-century from Nair, Kings XI Punjab could register a total of 153 in 20 overs.

Kings XI Punjab, who needed to restrict Chennai Super Kings to less than hundred, got a good start as they picked up three in wickets in the first five overs. After the third wicket, MS Dhoni sent in Harbhajan Singh, who wonderfully negated the seaming conditions with a handy 22-ball 19.

MS Dhoni again surprised everyone by sending Deepak Chahar ahead of himself as the fourth wicket fell and the move has worked wonders as Chahar scored 39 runs off just 20 deliveries. Suresh Raina scored 48-ball 61, and Dhoni finished off the innings and helped Rajasthan make it to the playoffs.
