Shane Watson became the second centurion of the 2018 edition of IPL and is set to retain his place in the XI. The Australian all-rounder slammed 106 runs against Rajasthan Royals in CSK's last match. Ambati Rayudu would accompany him at the top of the order.

Suresh Raina, who returned to the lineup after missing out on a match, played a handy 46 runs knock against RR and will walk in after the fall of the first wicket. Skipper MS Dhoni was at his brilliant best against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali a week ago and CSK fans would hope that the wicket-keeper-batsman beings out his best against SRH.

Sam Billings, along with Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja will man the lower middle order. The trio will have to provide acceleration down the order and help them finish the innings strongly.

The spin-heavy bowling attack of CSK will consist of Imran Tahir, Karn Sharma - who replaced Harbhajan Singh for the match against RR, youngster Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur, all of whom were amongst the wickets in their last outing.
