Sunrisers started their innings with a good opening partnership and had scored 88 runs in 11.1 overs by the time they lost both their openers Aaron Finch and Shikhar Dhawan.

That is when David Warner joined hands with Naman Ojha. Warner who was batting at No. 4, made 44 runs off just 23 balls and Ojha, who was promoted up the order, scored an unbeaten 79 off 36 deliveries, helping Sunrisers reach a score of 205/5 by the end of 20 overs.

In the chase, after losing Sehwag in the first over, Wriddhiman Saha and Manan Vohra formed a formidable duo and scored 54 (26) and 47 (20) respectively. By the time these two got out, the score was 125/3 in just 9.1 overs.

The batsmen who led KXIP to the finale in 2014, Maxwell, Miller and Bailey, finished the job comfortably with 10 balls to spare.
