To maintain that level of consistency over such a long period of time shows his excellence.

He will add more bite to the top order which is packed with world-class Indian players like Shaw, Dhawan, Iyer and Pant, and could be a very crucial player for them this season.

The Delhi Capitals really lacked quality in their pace bowling department last season and with their star pacers Morris and Kagiso Rabada injured, they looked seriously understaffed in that department.

Rabada is expected to feature this time around but will not remain with the side for the entire duration of the tournament. However, he's certainly expected to make a huge impact in the time in which he stays as his pace and bounce can trouble any batsman.
