#1 Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav was one of the best bowlers in last year’s IPL when he had picked up 20 wickets in 14 games. He was fourth in the list of the leading wicket-takers. But this year, the story has been completely different. India was searching for a fourth pacer for the World Cup and Yadav definitely had an outside chance, but he failed to deliver. He has struggled throughout this IPL. In the 11 games which he played, he picked up just the eight wickets at a high economy rate of 9.80. He has leaked a lot of runs at the death. Against the Chennai Super Kings, he almost lost them the game before Parthiv Patel showed some brilliance in the field. Even in their last league game, he gave away more than 20 runs in the last over. Navdeep Saini showed some better skills than Umesh and it would be better if RCB invest in a young fast bowler for the next few seasons.
