Chris Gayle has been one of the stalwarts of the Indian Premier League. Commonly regarded as the 'Universe Boss’, the ace-batsmen holds numerous records of T20 cricket and its extravaganza i.e. IPL. The blend of brutal force and the inhuman capabilities possessed by the Jamaican cricketer are simply stupendous. The 39-year-old has been utter destructive over the years and his shots are enough to give nightmare to the bowlers.

Gayle holds the feat of hitting most number of sixes in IPL. The Caribbean cricketer has hit 302 sixes in the 11 seasons of the IPL. AB de Villiers, who is at the second spot, has hit 193 sixes which is 109 less than Gayle's numbers.

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina is at the 4th rank with 187 sixes besides his name. And there's no denying to the fact that it will be quite tough for him to surpass Gayle in this list as Raina is also in the second half of his career and he might not get sufficient number of matches to get near to Gayle's numbers.
