Ashok Dinda has played for a lot of franchises in his long IPL career. His IPL career economy of 8.2 suggests that he has got a lot of stick from the batsmen over the years. In the early stages of IPL 2013, Dinda's side, Pune Warriors India, were up against Mumbai Indians.

With the likes of Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Kieron Pollard and Dinesh Karthik in the side, Mumbai were looking for a huge score on the board and they took a liking to Dinda's bowling and scored 63 runs in his 4 overs, setting a target of 184 for the Warriors; one that they failed to achieve.
