#7 Sunrisers Hyderabad - Yusuf Pathan

There was a time when Yusuf Pathan was one of the most feared batsmen in the IPL. The big hitting all-rounder from Vadodara has played some mind blowing innings in the IPL. He was instrumental for KKR in the team's two IPL titles. However, with age Yusuf has lost the ability to hit the ball big consistently.

After being released by KKR last year, Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Yusuf at the auction to bolster it's weak middle and lower middle order. After having a poor start to the season in IPL 2018, Yusuf made it up by playing some crucial innings in the second half of the tournament. He scored 260 runs in 2018 at a decent average of 28.88.

However, his performance this year has been pretty poor. The 36-year-old has scored just 40 runs in 10 matches. One of the biggest worry this year has been his low strike rate of 88.88. It will be interesting to see if Sunrisers persist with Yusuf next year or look for a younger player.
