IPL 2019: The ideal XI that Delhi Capitals should aim for after the auction

Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada, Jaydev Unadkat, Sandeep Lammichane and Amit Mishra

Unadkat could be the season-winning buy for DC

Delhi Capitals have let go of the likes of Liam Plunkett and Mohammed Shami but they have a decent bowling line-up in place.

Kagiso Rabada missed the tournament last year but he has been retained. Delhi also has Trent Boult who could start many games himself. Rabada might be preferred because he can offer depth in the batting department too.

Avesh Khan and Harshal Patel are the available Indian pacers but Delhi would need another Indian fast bowler. Jaydev Unadkat would be a good addition to the team. Mohit Sharma and Rajneesh Gurbani can also be considered.

Amit Mishra and Sandeep Lammichane will form a good spin bowling partnership next season. While Lammichane offers the mystery element, Mishra is a traditional leg-spinner. However, Mishra's form might be a concern and hence, Delhi Capitals may go for a backup in the auctions.
