Chris Morris is a South African bowling all- rounder who started his Indian Premier League journey from the Chennai Super Kings. The Chennai Super Kings brought him at the Indian Premier League edition of 2013. Chris Morris played an important role and contributed very well for the team as an important overseas player.

In the season of 2013, he played a key role in the bowling side. He played 16 matches and took 14 wickets. He didn't play the 2014 IPL, and later on found his base in the Delhi Daredevils. Chennai has always been blessed with all-rounders such as Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo. Hence, it was hard for the South African all-rounder to get a chance in the playing XI.

He has played 32 games for the Delhi franchise and scored over 400 runs, also picking 39 wickets. His career did take a leap once he moved out of CSK. He was also a part of the Rajathan Royals in the 2015 season, but did not have any notable performances.

Performance by Team:

CSK - 7 runs in 6 innings (14 Wickets)

Delhi - 427 runs in 25 innings (40 Wickets)
