Nehal Wadhera is a professional cricket batsman from India who plays domestic cricket for the Punjab State and the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on September 04, 2000 in Ludhiana, Punjab. Initially, he played age-group cricket for Punjab in Vijay Merchant and Cooch Behar Trophy till 2018. He made his India U-19 debut against Sri Lanka, scoring 82 runs in his debut game. In January 2023, he made his First-Class (FC) debut for Punjab against Gujarat at Valsad. In November 2023, he made his List-A debut against Baroda at Thana. He went on to score 49 runs in his List-A debut match. He was also featured in the 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup squad for India as a standby player.

Nehal Wadhera started his IPL career with the Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise in the 2024 season. He was signed by the MI franchise during the IPL 2023 auction. He was associated with the franchise for two seasons (2023-24) before joining Punjab Kings (earlier known as Kings XI Punjab). He made his IPL debut against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 02, 2023. He scored 21 runs off 13 balls in his IPL debut inning. His first IPL half-century came against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at MA Chidambaram Stadium on May 06, 2023.

As of April 2025, Nehal Wadhera has played for two IPL franchises: Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings (PBKS). He was first picked up by the MI during the IPL 2023 auction. The franchise retained him for the 2024 season as well. In the IPL 2025 auction, PBKS signed Nehal Wadhera for INR 4.2 crores.
