2009 Final: Deccan Chargers vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB's quest for IPL title began back in 2009 when a side led by Kumble reached the final in South Africa. The Chargers batted first, and despite losing their captain Gilchrist for a duck, went on to post a fair total of 143.
The star performers in the batting department for them were Gibbs and Symonds. RCB's incredible bowling performance was led by Man of the Match Anil Kumble, whose amazing performance almost won RCB its first title.
However, Ojha's accurate bowling helped the Chargers in defending the small total as this game too ended up being a thriller with the Chargers taking the title by 6 runs.
