While Rohit has been in exceptional touch lately, his record against Afghanistan is unsatisfactory. He has only played one ODI World Cup game against the Afghans and made only 1 run in that game.

Rohit Sharma played his only ODI World Cup game against Afghanistan during the 2019 ODI World Cup. It was Match 28th of the tournament and was played at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. Although Rohit had a dream 2019 ODI World Cup campaign, he endured a rare failure against Afghanistan.

In the 5th over, bowled by Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Rohit was clean bowled after making only one run off ten balls.
