Social media controversy between Harsha Bhogle and Sanjay Manjrekar over IPL commentary team

An unnecessary controversy was stoked by member of current IPL commentary team Sanjay Manjrekar. One of his tweets was a mild barb against sacked commentator Harsha Bhogle, as a result of which he got trolled heavily.

The source of the controversy was a retweet by Bhogle, which said in a spirit of hyperbole that commentary without him was like pizza without toppings.

Sanjay Manjrekar took the meaning of this tweet to be a criticism of the current IPL commentary team, of which he is a part of.

Twitter users were not amused by what Manjrekar commented, however, and criticised him for it.
