Just as the VIVO IPL team list received its two substitutions in the form of Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions, Extraaa Innings T20 received its share of substitutions with last year’s two female anchors Archana Vijaya and Shibani Dandekar missing from the screens to be replaced by Rochelle Rao and Pallavi Sharda.

Pallavi Sharda is a theatre actress and dancer, and is trained in the Indian dance of Bharatanatyam, while Rochelle Rao is a model and was crowned Femina Miss India International in 2012.
Extraaa Innings T20 is a very popular show which broadcasts the Indian Premier League. Featured in this show are prominent names such as Gaurav Kapoor, Sameer Kocchar, Navjot Singh Siddhu who team up with other cricket experts to give out detailed pre-match and post-match analysis.
While Gaurav Kapoor and Sameer Kocchar will suit up again for the series, it will be Pallavi Sharda’s debut season this IPL. Rochelle Rao has already featured on the show during her stint in IPL 6.
While the anchors suit up, twitter received it’s bit of activity from all of them, with Archana and Shibani expressing their sorrows on not being able to make it to the screens this time around. Pallavi Sharda tweeted her excitement for her first outing in the IPL, while Rochelle Rao admitted to learning something from both Archana and Shibani, and tweeted a promise to keep the standards of the show high.
