How to defeat Kor in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3

Kor in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is perhaps one of the trickiest NPCs you will find in this season of Super. As Daigo's lieutenant, she has inherited some of the powers, allowing her to teleport seamlessly across the expanse of the Rift island. Armed with a DMR, she is a long-range NPC that will deal sustained ranged damage to players.
Upon landing on the island, you will notice that Kor will jump further in the distance and use her DMR to take potshots at you. Similar to Daigo in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, she has a laser that can lock onto you, allowing her to fire at you with ease.
Your best bet is to fight fire with fire, using ranged attacks to deal continuous damage to her. It is recommended to use the ruined statues and walls as cover while dealing damage to her. Additionally, once her health drops low, she will summon a few henchmen who will deliver close-quarter damage. Make sure to wipe them out before continuing your fight with Kor.
It is recommended to use ranged weapons like the DMR or even the new Spire rifle to ensure you can dispatch Kor with relative ease. Additionally, you must be on your guard since the Rift portal is a popular phenomenon, and apart from the NPC, you might have to deal with other players or teams as well.
Once defeated, Kor will drop the following weapons and medallion in Chapter 6 Season 3:
- Shrouded Striker Medallion
- Kor's Deadeye DMR (Mythic)
The Shrouded Striker Medallion offers players invisibility when they jump, making it a great stealth feature. Additionally, it also makes the sprint jump send you farther, faster, and higher. This unique combination of transportation and invisibility makes it a great asset for quick getaways or to get out of a tricky situation when ambushed.
Additionally, Kor’s Deadeye DMR is a powerful Mythic long-ranged weapon that packs quite a punch, making it the perfect weapon to pick off enemies from a distance without engaging in close-quarter combat.
