The CME Group Tour Championship is the season-ending event of the LPGA Tour, similar to that of the men's PGA Tour Championship. The event has a field of 60 players and is sponsored by the CME Group, as the name suggests. It replaced the LPGA Tour Championship, which was held in 2009 and 2010, with Anna Nordqvist and Maria Hjorth taking home the titles, respectively.

The LPGA Tour debuted a season-long points competition in 2014, known as the Race to the CME Globe, with a $1 million prize. Based on their standing in the points list, each golfer's season-long "Race to the CME Globe" points were "reset" before the event. After which, the championship points and reset points are combined to decide the ultimate winner of the "Race to the CME Globe."

Who won the CME Group Tour Championship in 2024?

The 2024 CME Group Tour Championship is scheduled to take place from November 21 to 24 at the Tiburón Golf Club's Gold Course in Naples, Florida, in the United States. Thus, the winner will be updated likewise.

The inaugural event in 2011 had a purse of $1.5 million and the winner's share of $500,000, but after 13 years, the 2024 purse is $11 million and the winner's share is $4 million; furthermore, every golfer within the field of 60 will be awarded $55,000.
