Former world number one Dustin Johnson, who had the fifth-longest record of being number one for 64 weeks in 2017, has another 130 weeks in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. However, his Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) as of April 2024 is No. 336. He won the 2020 Masters Tournament and the 2016 United States Open.

The 39-year-old is the only golfer to win all types of World Golf Championships, with six titles, trailing only Tiger Woods. He was also the runner-up at the 2011 Open Championship and the 2015 US Open.

After winning the 2020 Travelers Championship, he became the third player in PGA Tour history to win a championship in his first 13 seasons, trailing only Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. From 2008 to 2020, Johnson was one of the PGA Tour's most consistent drivers, finishing in the top ten each year and even taking the lead in 2015.

He joined LIV Golf in 2022 and won the 2022 LIV Golf Invitational Boston and the 2023 LIV Golf Tulsa in the playoffs, both times with an eagle and a birdie on the first extra hole. Most recently, at the 2024 LIV Golf Las Vegas, he defeated Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein by one shot, finishing with a total of 198-under-12.

Dustin Johnson’s Driver

Dustin Johnson's bag for 2024 includes the TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver with 10.5 degrees of loft. This is yet another excellent "better player" driver from TaylorMade. Its adjustable weight behind the face allows golfers to alter the trajectory of their shots while extending their low spin distance.

Dustin Johnson’s Fairway

Golf Monthly reports that Johnson uses TaylorMade Stealth 2 three wood as of April 2024. Given how far he can hit the ball, the two-time Major winner prefers a weaker three wood. A decent gap has been added between his three woods and three irons with the use of an older TaylorMade Stealth 21 degree seven wood.

Johnson has previously used TaylorMade Stealth Nine Wood, which has a loft of about 24 degrees, and TaylorMade Stealth Rescue. This is one area of the bag that appears to be flexible.

Dustin Johnson’s Irons

The P730 DJ Proto irons are Johnson's three iron-to-pitching wedges. Since his junior years, he has been using True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts in his irons, which are now installed in these.

Several well-known TaylorMade staff players, notably Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, had their own line of custom irons, of which DJ Protos was one.

Dustin Johnson’s Wedges

In the 2024 season, Johnson started to play with the new TaylorMade MG4 wedges, even if he hasn't always been one to wear them. He is sticking with 52 and 60 degrees and hasn't adjusted the lofts. He occasionally uses this club in his setup; however, in the past, he has used a 64-degree TaylorMade Milled Grind Hi-Toe wedge.

The MG4 is an elegant-looking wedge that, in every situation, spins at a consistently high level. To increase confidence behind the ball, a raw face is nicely contrasted with the wedge's outer body. They are without a doubt among the best wedges for chipping, as per Golf Monthly.

Dustin Johnson’s Putter

Johnson prefers to use the TaylorMade Spider Tour V putter as his flatstick. Any ranking of the best putters will almost always include the manufacturer's Spiders, with the original Spider Tour being one of the most iconic putters in golf.

During off-center strokes, the Spider Tour putter excels because it helps keep the putt's direction and control. It is therefore among the most forgiving putters available.

Dustin Johnson’s Golf Ball

Golf Monthly believes that Johnson is currently using the latest 2024 model of the TaylorMade TP5x ball. This ball has real, noticeable improvements over the last version. The manufacturer has managed to maintain spin characteristics and improve speed throughout the bag in a way that feels more gentle.

Dustin Johnson’s Apparel

Johnson parted ways with Adidas after 15 years, and in 2023, he was spotted for the first time in his career wearing golf shoes other than Adidas. He seems to have settled on FootJoy footwear since then; the Premiere Series Packard was his first pair.

Johnson's LIV golf team, the 4 Aces GC team, announced in August 2023 that Extracurricular would be its official on-course apparel sponsor.
