Ayaka Furue is a Japanese professional golfer who is making a name for herself in the sport. Future was born in Kobe, Kansai, Japan. Her father has been training her golf since she was three years old. She is the LPGA Tour's shortest active player, being 5 feet tall, and has achieved records since going professional.

Furue earned her LPGA Tour card for 2022 after completing qualifying school. On July 31, 2022, she won her first LPGA event, the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open. She won by shooting a course record 10-under-par 62 in the final round. She became professional in 2019 and will make her official debut on the LPGA of Japan Tour in 2020. She has three victories and two second-place finishes on the Japan Tour.

In 2021, she performed well, climbing to 14th place in the world golf rankings. Later the same year, she participated in the Women's British Open, finishing tied for 20th after a level-par round of 72 that included an eagle, two birdies, and four bogeys.
