As Rockstar Games plans to roll out GTA 6 in 2025, fans have several expectations. While some wish the graphics to be better than anything before, others want more realistic features. These requests are genuine because Rockstar Games has stated that the Grand Theft Auto 6 will be better than anything they've made before.

The studio has enough experience from Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to craft a beautiful game with amazing features and gameplay mechanics. This article will list 10 features that most fans want to see in the upcoming title.

Note: The article is subjective and based on the community's and the writer's opinions.

10 features GTA 6 should have

1) Car refueling system

While this is a controversial feature for the Grand Theft Auto franchise, several fans want to see a car refueling system in GTA 6. This topic has come up in the past, but Rockstar Games has not implemented anything like this before.

Fans are using the Mafia series as an example where the vehicles in the game run out of fuel and need to be refilled at a gas station. This aspect allows the game to feel more realistic and grounded in reality. However, whether the developers will be willing to add something like that remains unclear.

2) More RPG elements

While the previous titles have experimented with RPG elements, they have not been too prominent. They were rather meticulous in GTA San Andreas, where players could go to the gym or eat junk food to change CJ's body. So, having similar features in GTA 6 would be amazing.

3) More parkour

Grand Theft Auto titles never had much advanced movement. While players can sprint, jump, and roll, they cannot climb over walls or scale buildings efficiently. So, many fans want Rockstar Games to add more parkour elements to the upcoming title to give it a breath of fresh air.

4) Interactive NPCs

NPCs have never been the focus of GTA titles. They are there to be target practice for players or to simply exist to fill the empty parts of the maps. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 revolutionized NPC AI and made them more than just background characters. Fans wish to see a similar or more advanced system in GTA 6.

5) Non-linear missions

Most of the missions and cutscenes in Grand Theft Auto 5 are heavily scripted and force players to take a linear path to complete tasks. While this approach works from the story's perspective, fans want a better and more non-linear system in Grand Theft Auto 6. There should be multiple ways to complete missions without the game handholding the players.

6) A denser map with random events

Another major issue most players had with Grand Theft Auto 5 was the empty spots across the map. These barren parts were void of life and activity and didn't serve any purpose. On the other hand, RDR2 has a highly dense map filled with random events that players encounter during exploration. Fans want a similar feature in GTA 6 as well.

7) Realistic character features

Fans were highly impressed by the realistic features in Red Dead Redemption 2, where the protagonist's hair and nails grew over time and needed trimming. This neat little detail adds a lot to the world and allows the game to feel more grounded in reality. It will be an amazing addition to GTA 6 as well.

8) Better Police AI

Cops and police chases are an integral part of the Grand Theft Auto games. However, players were not fans of the cops spawning out of thin air as soon as the character gets a wanted star. Fortunately, the leaked GTA 6 gameplay showed an advanced police chase, giving hope that the developers have overhauled the whole feature for the next iteration.

9) Gun-fu

While there is no lack of action and gunfights in the Grand Theft Auto titles, there is a drastic need for more variety in this field. Fans want to see more Gun-fu John Wick-style gameplay in Grand Theft Auto 6. This addition could be linked to the players' level and how much they've upgraded their weapon skills.

10) Enterable buildings

This is one of the most sought-after features that fans want to see in GTA 6. There are tons of buildings in Grand Theft Auto 5, but players can only enter a few, and even those are highly restricted. So, players wish for a more open world where the building and other properties are accessible and have proper interiors.

In other news, T-Pain revealed his involvement in the upcoming title on live stream. However, Rockstar Games has yet to make any statement regarding this topic.
