Popular American singer and record producer T-Pain recently went viral after claiming to be involved in GTA 6. The artist was talking about Grand Theft Auto 5 RP in a video when he stated that Rockstar Games had asked him to stop playing it because of his involvement in its upcoming game. While the original video where T-Pain made the statement was not found, a TikTok clip of him saying it is widely circulating on the internet.

However, readers are advised to take this information with a grain of salt as the claim is yet to be officially verified by Rockstar Games.

The widely circulated video of T-Pain first appeared on a TikTok profile called streamerclips (TikTok/@jmag.e).

T-Pain was a regular player on NoPixel, a popular Grand Theft Auto 5 RP server. When someone asked him about his recent absence from the server, the artist said:

"I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on GTA 6."

He added that he was barred from playing RP because Rockstar Games feared someone would use his album and re-record it:

"And they told me I couldn't do RP anymore because it kind of goes against… they had this whole speech, like, 'What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that,' and I'm like, 'Okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time. Alright, that's fine.'"

T-Pain apparently agreed to the request without any hesitation. However, he was later surprised to learn that Rockstar Games had acquired FiveM:

“Then I started working on the game with them and then they teamed up with the people that make the RP…”

These comments seemingly reveal that the popular American singer became involved with the upcoming game before FiveM, the popular GTA RP framework, got merged with Rockstar Games on August 11, 2023. It is currently unknown what role he will play in Grand Theft Auto 6. However, his mention of an album could indicate that the studio signed him for the title’s music.

Nonetheless, the clip featuring T-Pain has taken the community by storm. However, nothing can be taken as official until Rockstar Games releases GTA 6 trailer 2 or a confirmation.
