Rockstar Games brought back the Slasher Adversary Mode to GTA Online with the Halloween-special weekly update on October 5, 2023, and it has become the most-played game mode to date. According to Tez2 (X/@TezFunz2), a renowned insider and data miner, the Slasher series Adversary Mode gameplay is getting a record number of players, while other Halloween-themed game modes are struggling to attract fans.

The data miner also shared graphs and table charts that showed the player counts of other Halloween-special game modes in the multiplayer title. The Slasher Adversary Mode is reportedly the most-liked game mode in contemporary times.

On October 24, 2023, Tez2 shared some data about GTA Online's different Halloween modes on X (formerly Twitter). According to them, Slasher is one of the most popular game modes in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. It has been played over 19 million times with over five million likes.

The data miner pointed out that the Alien Survivals Adversary Mode is also getting traction among players. However, it is still far behind the Slasher Adversary Mode. The following table shows the player counts for various GTA Online Halloween 2023 game modes, such as the Slasher, Alien Survivals, Slashers, Drop Dead Death Match, and many more.

According to Tez2, the Death Match missions are struggling to attract players. As seen in the list, the Drop Dead Death Match, Damned and Lost Death Match, and Suck It Up Death Match modes have seen less than 10k player counts since their reintroduction.

It is worth noting that Rockstar Games has been providing double and triple money rewards on these Halloween-themed game modes since the first GTA Online weekly update of October 2023. You can earn plenty of cash and also farm RP during this period.

Many hardcore fans are eagerly waiting for a GTA 6 trailer release from the gaming studio this month. Until Rockstar does the reveal as per its schedule, one must try the Slasher Adversary Mode for an amazing experience.
