As fun as GTA Online is, it cannot be denied that the game suffers from some terrible bugs and glitches. While Rockstar Games has often released background updates to patch them, the issues haven't been eradicated. One of these long-running glitches is where a train spawns out of nowhere during the Series A Funding - Weed heist's getaway segment.
Interestingly, Reddit user u/HOTDOGTAGS recently uploaded a video of this glitch wherein the train spawned right onto their friend's Benson truck. This resulted in the vehicle getting destroyed, effectively failing the heist.
There are over 100 comments on this post, and the one by u/Templar-235, understandably, had some harsh words to describe the incident:
"That's some b*llsh*t right there"

Funnily enough, u/3-orange-whips uploaded a gif of a "b*llsh*t detector" with its needle hitting the max reading.
What's interesting is that a few were found blaming the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties update for this and a few more glitches. Although u/jairosolano10 explained that this GTA Online glitch had been present since the heist's release, others came up with certain issues they have been facing since the latest summer update dropped.

Here are more fan reactions in a similar vein to the above Reddit post:

Rockstar Games has, notably, released a couple of GTA Online background updates since the summer update dropped. These fixed a bunch of glitches but it looks like more such updates might be required to deal with these additional problems.
GTA Online players are seemingly facing many glitches after the Bottom Dollar Bounties update
The Bottom Dollar Bounties update added new GTA Online police cars, a bounty hunting business, and Dispatch Work missions, among other things, but it looks like the number of game-related issues might have risen with it.
The Union Depository glitch, CCTV camera issues, and disappearing tattoos were patched by a recent background update after the summer DLC. Unfortunately, going by the fan reactions on the above Reddit post, Rockstar might have to drop more of such patches.
That said, regardless of whether the developer can rid Grand Theft Auto Online of all bugs and glitches, what's crucial is ensuring that such problems do not make it to the series' next entry.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be arriving in Fall 2025, and with Take-Two Interactive's next earnings call set for August 8, 2024, fans expect more about the much-anticipated game to be showcased, possibly official GTA 6 screenshots, close to the event.
