Getting into this team after winning the World Cup wasn't easy for any opener. But we had a plan that we wanted to play our game and show intent from the first ball. That was my plan and I've worked really hard. You need special support from your coach and captain and that was one thing I was getting from them. My plan was clear that if I get that impact innings for my team, my team should win. If you want to play like this you will get failures. But that is the time you have to realize that. Sometimes you are going to fail but you have to follow the process. (Adjusting to different wickets) If you see I had a plan. If I got spinners in the powerplay I was going to use the powerplay. I had a plan that I wanted to go from the first ball. Obviously that's going to make me give that impact for the team.

Salman Agha [Pakistan captain]: "It was a tough pill to swallow. We could've finished with the bat well. Bowling we were good, if we had finished well, things would've been different. We couldn't rotate the strike, we lost too many wickets and that was the difference. We need to sort out our batting. Bowled really well, one time we were on top, but we have to give them the credit and batting is certainly a concern. Very proud, we've played well, proud as a team. Continue to improve, come back stronger. "

They were bowling well with change of pace, wanted to do it for my country. It was fantastic knock by Sanju at that moment. Under pressure Dube helped us build the partnership. We have prepared for every situation, every level. I was prepared to bat at any order. It was on the slower side, I had a discussion with the coach, rotating the strikes, sweep shots helped me. Special feeling, one of the best innings of my life. It goes to every Indian, I want to say Chak De India."
