India's ace javelin thrower was seen training in Sweden ahead of his departure to Tokyo. The 23-year-old from Haryana is a firm favorite to win a medal for India at the Olympics.
He set a world record at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Poland with a throw of 82.23 meters and won the gold. He would be hoping to manage a similar result and looking to challenge Johannes Vetter at the event.
