Minecraft 1.20's full release may not have arrived quite yet, but that doesn't mean players haven't found plenty of great worlds to use in the Trails & Tales update when it debuts. Thanks to the steady release of Java snapshots, Bedrock previews, and pre-releases, fans have already found plenty of great world seeds that will transition seamlessly into the 1.20 update.

Since Minecraft 1.20's development cycle has carried on for the past several months, any world seeds found during snapshots/previews/pre-releases should work perfectly fine in the full update. World generation won't differ greatly between the experimental releases and the 1.20 update itself, so the community has plenty of seeds to offer players who want to enjoy the Trails & Tales action right away.

While this Minecraft seed won't show off all the various 1.20 features right away, it does offer up a particularly fun survival island spawn. You will begin on a small desert island split between a village and a mangrove swamp. Gathering and trading for resources will certainly be simple enough, but building a thriving living space on such a small island may prove to be a challenge for survival island players. The size of the spawn area may also prove difficult since you won't have long before hostile mobs begin spawning and making their way out of the mangrove swampland.

On the bright side, the desert village on this survival island may spawn a camel, which is a new addition to the 1.20 update.

This one is a great seed for Minecraft players who want to visit the new cherry grove biome in update 1.20 as quickly as possible. You will spawn right inside a snowy mountain valley complete with a cherry grove biome at its center. Here, you can carve out a pleasant existence while using the new cherry wood type to create your base and structures, and the surrounding mountains have plenty of ore and stone resources to mine.

You will want to be careful though, as the deep dark biome and its ancient cities run underneath these mountains. Fortunately, you can stop by a nearby village at (X: 16, Z: -384) on Java and (X: 184, Z: 152) on Bedrock for a little extra assistance.

If you love nothing more than exploring large cave systems, this Minecraft 1.20 seed may satisfy. You will start on a considerably large landmass, and as you head along the eastern coastline, you'll find that the starting area has large cliffs leading into the ocean. That should make for some interesting views, but the caves also have several large hollow openings leading into a sizable cave system that is dying to be explored.

Additionally, if you mine your way inland, you can find an ancient city resting at (X: 136, Y: -51, Z: 392), and there's also a ruined Nether portal resting on the surface at (X: 216, Z: 296) as well.

This seed mixes a solid starting point with some good exploration opportunities. Right from the spawn, you will notice a small river village at (X: 0, Z: 16) where you can find shelter and snag some early supplies.

Even better, you can roam the nearby riverlands to find a small cove that may be worth exploring right across from the village. If that's not in line with your style, you can also head a short distance away from the safety of the village to find a sizeable cherry grove biome at approximately (X: -153, Z: -266).

5) 8554477380691140270 (Java)

Spotted by the content creators of Minecraft At Home, this seed is the "panorama seed" that the 1.20 update uses in its main menu visuals. By loading this seed up and heading to (X: 1839, Y: 128, Z: 6312), you can find the very same cherry grove biome used in the main menu's panorama. However, traveling to this location without using teleport commands will take some time, so you may want to stock up on supplies before you make the journey.

Fortunately, you will spawn in a bamboo jungle where you can collect the new bamboo wood set and even head to a desert village at (X: 288, Z: -496) where you can potentially find a camel to ride out to the panorama's location.
