Mojang will soon release the Minecraft 1.20 update for their age-old sandbox title. This update will be released sometime in 2023, most likely in the summer. As with every major update, Mojang plans to add even more blocks, items, biomes, and mobs with this update. The update will be called 'Trails and Tales,' which signifies that aspect of exploration and creating new stories in the game's world.

With the Minecraft 1.20 update, Mojang has drastically changed its approach to revealing new features to the public. Instead of showing all the new features at their annual event, they told them in installments over the span of a few months. This allowed them to show only those features that were 100% confirmed for the update and not something they might retract before the update drops.

This article presents all the major features coming to the 1.20 update
