Dune Awakening: Alcyon Wreck walkthrough

Alcyon Wreck in Dune Awakening is going to be one of the first locations you'll be visiting frequently for quest-related tasks. It's not the largest or most dangerous of wrecks out there, but it does give you an idea of the scale of things. If nothing else, it teaches you how to approach POIs like this and what to keep an eye out for.

However, don't think that you won't be rewarded for exploring the Alcyon Wreck. There's quite a bit of loot you'll be able to pick up and make use of in Dune Awakening.

Alcyon Wreck walkthrough in Dune Awakening

In the central room of the Alcyon Wreck, you'll find a bunch of green-tier resources. It's basic in nature but will help along the way, especially since you have to constantly repair your equipment or craft replacements. If nothing else, you can sell it for Solari.

In the central room, you'll also find Plasteel Microflora Fiber and Mechanical Parts. The former, you will need a lot of as you progress through the game. Don't forget to pick it up while you're at the Alcyon Wreck

If you proceed further north, you will get to see a room with a green console and a hologram of a globe. Next to it, you'll find the Holtzmann Amplifier, which is a Contract Item in Dune Awakening. Once you have this, you can proceed upstairs.

Take the stairs opposite the green console to get to the upper floor; this will give you access to the southern hull of the ship. Next, turn toward the left to enter a room that leads to a hole in the ship. This can be used as your exit. Look for a purple identification badge next to the door to access the exit point.

You'll also find the Unique schematic for Kaleff's Drinker. This Short Blade allows you to extract blood from opponents without needing a Blood Extrator. If you have Blood Sack on you, it will refill automatically. To craft this, you'll need the following resources:

Copper Ingot x 5
Plasteel Microflora Fiber x 7
Spice-infused Copper Dust x 2

In addition to this Unique schematic found in Hagga Basin South, you will be able to find other items within the Alcyon Wreck. Once you've cleared out the area, you can run the gauntlet again to gain XP, schematics, items, and resources after a short cooldown.

It's not the best place for loot, but if you run it a few times, it'll give you a good understanding of how to run other wrecks, especially those in PvP regions such as Wreck of the Pallas.
