Jasmium Crystal is one of the more useful late-game resources in Dune Awakening. It can be combined with Aluminium Ingots to create Duraluminium Ingots, which is used in a wide variety of useful resources. In particular, you can combine them with Agave Seeds to create the incredibly useful Iodine Pills. In addition, Duraluminum is used to create some of the most powerful vehicles in the whole game as of this writing, so you’re going to want a stock on hand.
However, the most important thing to know before you go grinding for Jasmium Crystals in Dune Awakening, is that the whole area is irradiated, so you better bring a strong Radiation suit.
Where to farm Jasmium Crystal in Dune Awakening
If you’re going to farm Jasmium Crystal in Dune Awakening, bring your best radiation protection, and head down to Sheol, in the southwest corner of the map. You can find it around rocky outcroppings, like any other ore. Check the map below for places you can easily find it spawning. As this is an area that’s primarily open sand, you should definitely only fly around here.

However, you can’t use just any old Cutteray to farm Jasmium in Dune Awakening. We recommend bringing either the Industrial Cutteray Mk4, Cutteray Mk5, or Cutteray Mk6, whichever you are currently using. As long as you’re protected from radiation, you can easily fly down to this area, and pick up as much as you need.
Make sure your Ornithopter has a storage container too, to hold all the minerals you farm. It will make life so much easier. Another thing to bear in mind is that even with a radiation suit, you still build up radiation. When the meter in the bottom of the screen is about 75% full, it’s time to leave the zone. If you have to stand in the green stuff on the ground, don't stand in it long, either; it's not good for your health.
You can also try going to the CHOAM Exchange (auction house) in either Arrakeen or Harko Village, but there’s no guarantee that any will be available, or that it will have a reasonable price. The only other place you can turn to, is to reach out to friends/public chat/guildmates, to see if they have any to spare.
Jasmium Crystals are pretty useful in Dune Awakening. While they are only used directly in one recipe (Duraluminium Ingot), Duraluminum Ingots are used in a staggering 182 recipes! Pretty much anything in the late game is going to require you to have at least a small amount of Duraluminum it looks like. Whether it’s equipment or vehicles, you need Duraluminium, so as a result, you need lots of Jasmium Crystals in the mid/late game.
