Dune Awakening: What's the max level?

Dune Awakening has an incredibly high max level, and while it could take a bit of time to get there, it’s certainly worth achieving. Leveling up grants skill points, which allows you to grow in power, as well as gain additional survivability from the various passives the game offers.

Whether you want easier terrain climbing with Planetology or perfect your talent with the blade on a Swordmaster, you can mix and match a ton of classes as you level. While you can keep farming Knowledge Points beyond the 140 cap in the Deep Desert, Skill Points have a limit.

With a max level of 200 in Dune Awakening, you do have a significant amount of flexibility in your build, but it’s not infinite.

What is the max level in Dune Awakening right now?

According to current information available, Dune Awakening’s max level is 200. Originally, players were under the impression you could unlock every single skill on one character, but that turns out to not be the case. You need roughly 95 skill points per skill tree, and there are six skill trees. Unfortunately, that means you cannot unlock everything.

199 skill points is still a generous amount of build power. You can complete two classes and still have a few points to scatter on the other trees if you really want. I don’t think that would make for a good build, though. I think it’s probably going to be better to focus on one class and get up to mid-tier skills in other class trees.

With a max level of 200 in Dune Awakening, it might seem impossible to reach that peak, and it does admittedly take a lot of exp — around 458K exp to reach the level cap — but it’s not as bad as it sounds. You just have to balance your time and figure out what tasks are worth doing to get the most exp possible.

Perhaps the biggest hurdle will be the mid-game. Once you can start doing Major Contracts, you can start raking in pretty serious exp, but you also have to consider what kind of time commitment that will take.

Eventually, you can learn every blueprint/piece of researchable content, but you cannot get every skill. Instead, you’ll want to get important survival skills and also decide which class/tree you want to focus on.

It’s worth noting that in the future, this level cap could increase. There is DLC planned for the game in the future, and there could always be expansions. Arrakis is a massive planet, and there are other places we could still explore.
