New leaks reveal primary Destiny mobile game features and NetEase-led development
In September 2024, Jeff Grubbs, one of the most renowned leakers in the community, reported that the Destiny mobile game is very much real. He added that "Destiny Rising" doesn't have many people working from Bungie, but it will get announced sooner than expected.

Kurakasis, another leaker weighed in on the news, saying the Destiny mobile game is in development and has not been canceled.
However, it appears that Bungie was unable to finalize co-development negotiations with NetEase. As a result, the developer currently only provides assets of characters, with just five or six team members collaborating with NetEase on the project.
