Dale Jarrett is a former American stock car racing driver. He participated in the Cup Series and Xfinity Series. He has a 24-year long career in the Cup Series and 20-year career in the Xfinity Series. Dale Jarrett is a NASCAR champion who won the series in 1999. He is a second-generation NASCAR driver and his father, Ned Jarrett, is a well-known personality who competed in the sport as well. Jarrett currently serves as a racing commentator for NBC. He joined NBC in 2015 becoming a member of the Sports Broadcasting Crew. He retired from driving and joined ESPN as the lead racing analyst before his career in NBC.

Dale Jarrett has started 668 races in the NASCAR Cup Series and won 32 races. He claimed 260 top-10s in the sport during his time in the NASCAR Cup Series. He has also won 11 races and claimed 173 top-10s in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Dale Jarrett has won three Daytona 500 races throughout his career. He has won three out of four Crown Jewel races including the Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 (twice), and the Brickyard 400. Jarrett was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2014. Jarrett then signed with Joe Gibbs Racing for three years. He earned his first win in the Cup Series with Wood Brothers Racing. He joined Robert-Yates Racing and raced with them from 1995 to 2006. Dale Jarrett achieved most of his wins and his championship at Robert Yates Racing. He won the 1999 championship with the team. Jarrett spent his final season in NASCAR with Michael Waltrip racing.
