Presently, Thea holds dual roles as a member of Chase University and a collaborative partner with Jacy Jayne in a formidable team. Before joining WWE, she honed her skills on the independent circuit, making notable appearances in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the pseudonym Nikita Knight.

Wrestling Career

All Elite Wrestling(AEW) (2021)

Under the moniker Nikita Knight and at the age of eighteen, Knisley made her professional wrestling debut on September 11, 2021, in an episode of AEW Dark that aired until the 28th of the same month. In her debut, she contested an individual match against Thunder Rosa, resulting in her defeat. Two months later, on November 30, she reappeared in another episode of AEW Dark, engaging in a match against Julia Hart, where she faced defeat once again.

WWE(2022-Present)

On March 17, 2022, it was announced that Knisley had signed a contract with WWE as part of a new class of recruited wrestlers who would begin honing their wrestling skills at the WWE Performance Center. She made her debut on the April 8 episode of NXT: Level Up, introducing herself with the new name Thea Hail and was defeated by Ivy Nile. On the May 31 episode of NXT, Hail graduated from university and subsequently chose to pursue higher education at Andre Chase University. Upon joining this faction, she started appearing with Chase U members Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward, achieving a winning streak on NXT Level Up.

On the August 9 episode of NXT, she had her televised in-ring debut in a match against Arianna Grace, where she suffered a defeat. In the November 1 episode of NXT, Duke Hudson joined Chase U, replacing Bodhi Hayward, who had been released by the company on the same day. During this time, she aided in rescuing Chase and Hail after the former was attacked by Charlie Dempsey.

After being kidnapped by Ava Raine on the February 7, 2023, episode of NXT, Chase U and she initiated a feud against The Schism, Rayne's faction. The latter also began intimidating Tyler Bate, who allied with Chase U on the March 21 episode of NXT to confront them. As a result, both teams agreed to a showdown scheduled for NXT Stand & Deliver, where the stakes were high, if The Schism won, they would take control of Chase U. On April 1 at the event, Chase U emerged victorious over The Schism.

On the June 6 episode of NXT, Hail won a battle royal to become the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship. On the night 2 of NXT Gold Rush, she faced Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women's Championship but unfortunately suffered a loss.

On the August 15 NXT show, Jayne beat Thea Hail after her friends Andre Chase and Duke Hudson caused a distraction. Backstage after the match, Jayne gave praise to Hail and subsequently became a mentor to Hail. This led to Jayne joining Chase University. But at NXT: Halloween Havoc Night 2, their plan to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship failed because Chase stopped Jayne from using the title belt against Chelsea Green.
