Aniket Verma IPL Career

Aniket Verma is an Indian batter who plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and for Madhya Pradesh (MP) in domestic cricket. He was born on February 02, 2002. He came into the limelight after scoring 273 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 195.00 for Bhopal Leopards in the Madhya Pradesh League in June 2024. He smashed 101 runs off 75 balls, hitting six fours and eight sixes, for MP against Karnataka in the U23 one-day tournament in December 2024.

Verma, who is a right-handed batter, made his domestic debut for MP in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) match against Hyderabad in December 2024. He has only played one domestic T20 game, as of April 2025. He started his IPL career with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2025 edition. He made his IPL debut against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad and scored seven runs in his debut innings.
