Adopt Me's latest update has brought Butterflies back to the game. With the Butterfly Sanctuary returning for a limited time, players can now catch a variety of Butterflies, spanning different rarities, until the location is removed. However, it is natural to be a little confused, especially if this is the first time you've encountered these Pets.
This article offers the complete list of Butterflies that can be obtained from the Butterfly Sanctuary.
List of all the new Butterflies that you can catch in Adopt Me

Before diving into the list, it is worth noting that Butterfly Pets were also available back in 2022, but the ability to obtain them was removed after a while. Some variants of those Pets are still unavailable and haven't been added back with the recent update.
The list below only covers the Butterfly Pets that you can currently obtain from the Butterfly Sanctuary.
Note that these Butterflies will only be obtainable as Pets till June 20, 2025, and will be removed after this date. Hence, you only have a couple of days to tame and acquire them.

How to catch Butterflies in the game

To catch a Butterfly in the game, you must head over to the middle of the Adoption Island and enter the Butterfly Sanctuary. This location has recently spawned in the game and will be removed shortly. Inside, you can purchase different Flowers on the right side of the room.
Once you purchase a Flower, it will be added to your inventory or automatically equipped in your hand. Now, all you need to do is simply click anywhere on the screen to trigger the Flower. It will fly off from your hand and land in the garden, ready to attract Butterflies.

Shortly, one of the Butterflies will be tamed, and you will obtain it as a Pet. Note that Butterflies of higher rarity will take multiple tries before you can tame them. On top of that, you must use the right Flower to attract them. Check out our Butterfly Sanctuary guide for further information about the process.
