The Build an Island Lightning Storm event occurs every hour at the 0:05 mark. It could begin at 9:35 AM, repeat at 10:45 AM, and so on. During the special event, the resources on a player's island, such as Wood, Bamboo, Iron Ore, and Magma Ore, are struck by lightning (electrified) while the sky turns a distinct stormy blue.

When the event is active, you have five minutes to collect randomly electrified resources on the island. Every electrified resource gives you points that contribute to the "Earn Free ⚡︎ Ticket" progress bar at the top of the screen. Amass as many points as possible to get Lightning Tickets, which can be exchanged for event-exclusive crates.

Although progressing in the event sounds simple, there are a few catches. The earned points for a ticket do not carry over to the next Lightning Storm event. Moreover, your Workers cannot contribute to the event's progress by collecting resources. Only you can chop down trees, and mine ores touched by lightning.

After spawning in the game, head to the left side, past the first two seed beds. Unlock the area next to the pier where you can summon a raft. You'll then notice a hovering dark blue crate, which you can purchase by interacting with it.

Each ticket gives you a single Lightning Crate. Its contents and drop rates are mentioned in the following section:

  • Aloe Vera Seeds - 59%
  • Owl - 31%
  • Sundew Seeds - 9.9%
  • Tiger - 0.1%

The crate will disappear once the Lightning Storm Event ends on June 14, 2025. Acquire its time-limited contents as soon as possible.
