How to get Dawnbound Mutation in Grow a Garden

The Dawnbound Mutation can only be obtained during the developer-initiated Sun God Event. Moreover, it is limited to the Sunflower crop. This means you cannot apply the Mutation to your other fruits and veggies. As a result, it differs from the Voidtouched Mutation, which is also applied by an Admin Event but affects crops randomly in the garden.

To get the Dawnbound Mutation, you must first purchase and plant a Sunflower Seed in Grow a Garden. These rare seeds appeared during the Bizzy Bees Event. Once a Sunflower sprouts in your garden, wait for the developers to bring another iteration of the Sun God Event.

During the event, team up with three friends or random players and then make your way towards the Sun God with an equipped Sunflower. All four must then enter a special zone near the Gear Shop and subsequently raise their Sunflowers. A lightning bolt will strike all the flowers, following which the Sun God will bless them with the Dawnbound Mutation.

Note that acquiring the Dawnbound Mutation necessitates a group of four or more players. Moreover, you must have a Sunflower raised/equipped in front of the Sun God to get it struck by lightning.
