Mary Tucker, born on July 20, 2001, is an American competitive shooter. Standing at 5 feet 3 inches, Tucker is a promising star and has already won many accolades in her short career. Interestingly, Tucker’s introduction to shooting happened during her teenage years, unlike most shooters who start very young. Tucker formally entered into the world of competitive shooting at the age of 16 and quickly excelled.

Tucker's rise in competitive shooting was an incredible feat considering her late entry and informal training. At the college level, she represented University of Kentucky and West Virginia University with distinction and quickly made a name for herself. Notably, during her time at the University of Kentucky, she became the Rookie Shooter of the Year and Athlete of the Year.

On the International stage Tucker reaped success like no other. She won gold, silver and bronze medals at the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi in 2021. Prior to that, at the 2020 Olympic Games at Tokyo, Tucker won a silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle mixed team event. In just four years after taking up shooting competitively, Tucker became an Olympic medal winner, which is a feat that can only be achieved with incredible talent and dedication.
