The Belgium Women's hockey team currently ranks 13th in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Women’s list.
History
The team comes under the tutelage of the Hockey Belgium and European Hockey Federation.
In its first major international tournament in the 1981 FIH Women's Hockey World Cup, the Red Panthers secured the fifth position.
Achievements
Belgium’s highest position in the World Cup was third in 1978. Since 1983, it failed to qualify in the seven consecutive World Cups before coming back in 2014. But it finished at the bottom.
