Sydney Sixers 2020/21 squad - Players to watch out

#1. Moises Henriques

The Australian all-rounder and skipper of the Sydney Sixers, Moises Henriques, needs to be at the top of his game to take the Sixers close to a title win in 2020-21. In T20 cricket, the 33-year-old has scored 3775 runs and picked up 108 wickets. He has played the BBL as a skipper of the Sixers for the last four years and will be doing the same for the fifth year too.

#2. Dan Christian

Dan Christian has been playing T20 cricket since 2006 and has featured in over 300 games of the shortest format. He has scored close to 5000 runs and picked up 240 wickets in his 14-year-long T20 career. He will be needed dearly by the defending champions to retain their title.

#3. Tom Curran

The English all-rounder Tom Curran has evolved into one of the better cricketers at the moment. The younger Curran brother was the highest wicket-taker for the Sixers last year when they lifted the BBL trophy for the second time in their history. He will be required to repeat his performance this year too.

#4. Carlos Brathwaite

Carlos ‘remember the name’ Brathwaite can be used by the defending champions as their finisher for the 2020-21 edition of the BBL. He has been away from cricket for quite a while but so have been many others. But, the game-defining quality that this big West Indian has is possessed by very few others.

#5. Sean Abbott

Sean Abbott has been Sixers’ leading wicket-taker every season since 2015-16 till 2018-19. He picked a total of 66 wickets in those 4 years and played a massive role in the success achieved by the men in pink. While he will be with the Australian squad for quite a while, he will be needed by the Sixers whenever available.
