Jordan Martinook is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He plays as a left winger and serves as an alternate captain for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL. He started his ice hockey career with the Leduc Oil Kings and then moved on to the Drayton Valley Thunder in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Though he faced setbacks, like being cut from the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes.

However, Martinook didn’t give up. He later earned a spot with the Vancouver Giants, where he made a strong impression. His dedication paid off when the Phoenix Coyotes drafted him 58th overall in 2012. Since then, Martinook has built a steady NHL career, first with the Arizona Coyotes and later with the Carolina Hurricanes.
