Born on November 29, 1996, Claire Collins is a renowned American rower. Collins has demonstrated excellence in volleyball, swimming, and rowing throughout her high school and collegiate years. She attended the Deerfield Academy. Collins served as captain in rowing, swimming, and volleyball. She earned the Sheldon Award and the Deerfield Cup. Collins was a three-time New England All-Star in volleyball and was awarded All-America honours in swimming. She won a silver medal in the 8+ and 4- at the Junior World Championships in 2012 and 2014 respectively, and led her team to win the New England Rowing Championships in 2014 and 2015. She went to Princeton University for her college career. Collins became a three-time All-American and a four-time All-Ivy recipient. Her contributions to the rowing team earned her the C. Otto von Kienbusch Award in 2019 and recognized her as Princeton's top senior female athlete.

Collins became a member of the U.S. national team. She competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where her team placed seventh in the Four-Women event. She earned a bronze medal in the Pair-Women event in the 2022 World Championships and a fourth-place finish in the Four-Women event in the 2023 World Championships.
